Welcome back to another episode of the Constructive Liberty Podcast, Intentionally Designing a Lifestyle of Freedom.
Speaker:Today is Wednesday, December 7, 2022, and this is episode number 127. I nearly forgot what month of the year it was.
Speaker:I don't know how I could do that. Just went blank. Anyway, today I'm going to talk with you a little bit about CryptoLabs Research, a membership,
Speaker:community that I joined here a couple of months ago, all about creating passive income through cryptocurrency.
Speaker:I promised you a little more about that in last week's episode, so today I'm delivering that.
Speaker:I actually recorded a video which is up on my YouTube channel so that you can go check it out.
Speaker:To that in the show notes. And I'm also going to talk about finding your passion. Now I talk a lot about goals and about designing your life for the most freedom possible.
Speaker:And part of that includes doing work that you love. But in order to do work that you love, you need to know what kind of things you love to do. And that involves finding your passion.
Speaker:Now I recorded this as a video, which is on my Empowering Forward Momentum YouTube channel, but you're gonna get the audio of that right here.
Speaker:If you prefer watching in video format, that link will be down in the show notes, but you'll get the whole thing right here on the audio podcast, so you don't need to go watch the video unless you wanna go watch and subscribe.
Speaker:That's great, I'd love it if you would do that, but you don't need to. Before we get into the Crypto Labs research review, or telling you what it's about, I want to remind you today to be awesome.
Speaker:And I've got a couple of quotes about that for you. Zig Ziglar said, awesome people have awesome attitudes and do things awesomely.
Speaker:Want to build and maintain an awesome attitude, get into the habit of living in the present and doing it now.
Speaker:Living in the present is something that is so hard to do. Like we're always looking to the future or looking to the past and we forget to live now.
Speaker:But you have to have a nice balance of all of those things. You need to be fully present where you're at while maintaining an appreciation for the past and for the things that you have,
Speaker:and the things that you've done and experienced in the past, while also looking towards the future,
Speaker:and the life that you're creating for yourself.
Speaker:So it's that healthy balance of those three that brings fulfillment and creates an awesome life.
Speaker:The other thing, the other quote is by Ricardo Hausham. I don't know who that is, but he said, "'The best thing about being who you really are "'is that you simply cannot fail.
Speaker:"'Be you, be awesome, and live awesomely.'" I think so many people struggle with that, with truly being themselves.
Speaker:And that's because we don't know who we are. We don't know how we need to be around other people. We don't know how to interact with other people.
Speaker:But when we discover that, when we just be who we are, being a decent human being, we can be awesome. Like people enjoy being around people who are authentic, who are themselves.
Speaker:It's great. I love it myself. Anyway, enough of that, go be you. Don't forget to be awesome today.
Speaker:Be awesome for somebody else. Let's jump right into the main topic of the show.
Speaker:Their value, that's the overall value of the project. So you can see over time, as people get into the project, the TVL or total value locked goes up.
Speaker:And then once that starts going down, that's probably the time when you wanna get out of it. If it starts going down too quickly, you've lost your window.
Speaker:They talk about how to spend their profits either through cashing out or transferring some of that to a cryptocurrency debit or credit card.
Speaker:Then they go into the blockchains, the layers, the coins, the stable coins and tokens, and they tell you all about that, how to think about it, what they actually mean,
Speaker:and what they are, because that's one of the really confusing things that people don't understand about cryptocurrency is they don't understand all the differences and how all of that actually works.
Speaker:Then they go into utilizing different exchanges and wallets and how to keep all of that secure.
Speaker:They go through hot wallets and cold wallets, centralized exchanges. They walk you through Metamask, funding Metamask, your Metamask wallet, go through decentralized exchanges, bridging from one.
Speaker:Blockchain, buying BUSD on Coinbase. They even have a whole video on just that one cryptocurrency, that one token. And the reason that one's important, I'll just go into that a little
Speaker:bit is, and I didn't know this before I saw this video, is that BUSD, which is the Binance BUSD is on different blockchains. So they they have a token on,
Speaker:the the binance smart chain they have a token on,
Speaker:the And I'll look at it here in my metamask wallet It's the in the in the Matic or the polygon network So they have they have the BUSD token on different.
Speaker:Blockchains and you can't just send that token from one blockchain to another because they don't communicate.
Speaker:So you have to do what's called a bridge, which is the lesson just before that. Talk about moving your crypto into Fiat back and forth and all of that.
Speaker:They have a crypto security masterclass on how to protect your Metamask wallet, connecting your hardware wallet to Metamask, show you links and resources on crypto security.
Speaker:And they talk about tokenomics, how to analyze the different projects, how they go about analyzing it, like they go through a complete breakdown of that.
Speaker:Then they have a thousand dollar a month fast track, which is a little bonus lesson in here.
Speaker:Talk about they give you their checklist that they go through before they ever invest in a project. Talk about their strategies and how to build up to the ten dollars a day on a return,
Speaker:how to build up to $50 a day and scaling on up to $100 a day.
Speaker:And even on higher than that. Lesson four is do your own research and tracking. And they talk about what you need to know before you invest a single dollar.
Speaker:And they walk you through doing your own research. They have checklists and they even have, I'll show it to you here, do your own research framework.
Speaker:Like they have questions that they ask about a project the research that they do, the team, the website, community,
Speaker:links to the white paper and roadmap, maps, weaknesses, red flags, tokenomics, all of those things and walk you through how to think about investing in a project.
Speaker:That's as far as I've gotten in their course.
Speaker:They go on down through diversification strategy, risk management, compound effect, portfolio diversification, staking, liquidity pools, air drops, ICOs, lending and borrowing, mining, tokenized assets, masternodes, rewards programs.
Speaker:It's incredible everything that they go through in here. But the best part of this membership is not the course.
Speaker:That is super in-depth. But the best part of the membership is that they go live, scheduled twice a week, scheduled meetings, And then probably another three to four times a week, they do a live video, kind of updating a project.
Speaker:You know, if something happens that you need to act on, like if they see the TVL dropping in one of their projects.
Speaker:Then they're gonna pull out, then they will do a quick video on that, saying, look, here's what's happening, here's what I'm doing.
Speaker:You know, do what you want with that. This is why I'm doing this. Do your own research into that, but this is.
Speaker:And these guys are awesome. You'll love them. It's Lucas Rubix and Colin Mason are the two that are, it's their membership and they do a great job with,
Speaker:it. So I'll drop a link in the show notes and in the notes of this video where you can go check out their YouTube channel and also where you can go check out this membership and sign up if you want to. I do get a little, I think I get a,
Speaker:a month free membership if you sign up through my link.
Speaker:So it's not that much, but it is a little bit. So if you're interested in it, if you wanna sign up for it, do use my link, but always know, don't invest anything that you're not willing to lose, because it is a crap shoot. I have lost money because I wasn't paying close enough attention.
Speaker:I'm still learning, getting into it. It's a lot of fun learning it. So go check it out.

Speaker:I'm getting into it. It's a lot of fun learning it. So go check it out. The links are down below.
Speaker:Today I want to give you some easy steps to finding your passion in life. But before we get into that, why do you need to find your passion?
Speaker:Well, if you talk to a lot of people, older guys and gals that have been in their career for a few years, you'll find that about 80% of them are unhappy with the work that they're doing.
Speaker:That's because they haven't taken the time to find what it is they enjoy doing, what it is that they're good at.
Speaker:They made the decision to go into their career based solely on maybe what somebody else told them or on the amount of money that they can make in that specific career.
Speaker:If they had done the work to find what it is that they enjoy doing, to find work that they loved. Then they would find fulfillment in the work that they do. And that starts with finding your passion.
Speaker:So I'm going to give you some.
Speaker:Things that you're passionate about. So grab a pen and a paper, come along for the ride. I'm gonna share my screen here. Some easy steps to finding your passion.
Speaker:Let me just slide that window over out of the way and we'll jump right into it. So if you're somebody that's trying to find passion in life, you are not alone. So,
Speaker:many people are seeking that every single day. So why is it so difficult to recognize what your true passion is.
Speaker:See, it's not really that difficult to identify your passion. And one way to do that is to ask yourself some questions.
Speaker:So we're gonna go through a few examples here. One thing that you can ask yourself is, what do you like to do outside of work?
Speaker:So if you're a young adult, if you're still in school, maybe you're still a teenager, what do you enjoy doing outside of school?
Speaker:And I'm not talking about going skateboarding with your buddies or sitting down and watching a movie or playing games or anything like
Speaker:that. Those are all things that you can create a career around and a lot of people do. But think of things even outside of that that you enjoy doing. Do you enjoy working with,
Speaker:your hands? See, some of those things can give you some insight into other types of of work that you might enjoy.
Speaker:So let's take skateboarding for instance.
Speaker:If you enjoy tinkering and modding skateboards, like putting new, I don't even know what all the things are, putting new wheels on them and making things work better, waxing the boards, do skateboards get waxed? I'm showing my ignorance here. I'm more of a snowboard guy.
Speaker:But if you like tinkering with those things, playing with them, maybe you enjoy working with your hands you can look for work where you work with your hands more.
Speaker:That gives you some insight into that area. And that can help you if you look at what you enjoy doing outside of the things that you have to do, that gives you some insights into what kind of hobbies and interests you might have.
Speaker:Another question is, what one thing do you do whenever you get the chance?
Speaker:There's something for all of us that whenever...
Speaker:We jump at. I mentioned snowboarding a minute ago. That's my thing. I love going snowboarding.
Speaker:I could probably go find a job, something around snowboarding.
Speaker:I could maybe create a YouTube channel around it. I could move somewhere where I get to go snowboarding a lot and work at a ski resort and help people learn how to snowboard or start a snowboard rental shop or something like that.
Speaker:When you know what that thing is that helps you to know what your passions are. It gives you some excitement. And that's the next question is what makes you feel excited?
Speaker:It's normally those things associated or that's normally associated with the things that you're good at, mostly your talents and your gifts.
Speaker:I read something the other day that said, you are good at the things you enjoy, but you don't enjoy everything that you're good at.
Speaker:So look for the things that excite you. Those are typically things that you're good at. Dive deeper into that.
Speaker:That can help you find your passions. That can help you find things to create a career around. The next question is what makes you feel more confident?
Speaker:So it might be something like talking, writing, singing, or art, which those are all forms of art, but that's specifically painting or drawing. Those things can give you confidence.
Speaker:There are things that you could be good at and you feel confident when you do them because you are good at them. You don't even have to think twice about doing it.
Speaker:You just do it because you're confident.
Speaker:The next question is, what would you do even if you weren't earning money from it? What would you do even if you weren't earning money from it?
Speaker:I love teaching.
Speaker:I love helping people figure out what it is.
Speaker:Their passion, their purpose, and their career path in life. I haven't made any money from that yet, but I love doing that.
Speaker:I love seeing other people find fulfillment in life. That signifies your passion.
Speaker:Even if you don't earn money from it and you keep doing it, that is something you're passionate about. You're not in it for the money. You just love doing it and wanna spend all your spare time enjoying yourself in that thing.
Speaker:What's that thing for you?
Speaker:I hope you're writing these things down. The next question is, what one thing or item would you like to change in the world?
Speaker:What is that thing for you?
Speaker:What would you like to change in the world? For me, I hate seeing people stuck in a job or a career or a business or whatever that thing is.
Speaker:I hate seeing people stuck doing things that is not fulfilling.
Speaker:Stuck in a job that they hate, that doesn't fit their gifts and their passions and their skills and their talents and their abilities and everything that God gave them.
Speaker:It doesn't fulfill their God given potential. They're just stuck. It's like you have a Corvette and you can only drive through a little old retirement neighborhood.
Speaker:You're not unleashing its full potential. That is how most people are.
Speaker:They're stuck, they're a Corvette stuck in a retirement neighborhood. They can't get out there and just give it a go.
Speaker:Your answer here for the thing that you'd like to change in the world. It could be anything like providing better drinking water to third world countries or helping underprivileged children or stopping animals from becoming extinct.
Speaker:It might be helping homeless people find homes.
Speaker:Helping teens find their career path. That's what it is for me. What's that thing for you?
Speaker:Next question, what do you do in your spare time? You probably spend your spare time developing one of your hobbies or talents.
Speaker:You might spend the time writing, or creating music, or exercising. Those can give you insights into what you should pursue, or at least should give you insights into the genre of work that you could look for.
Speaker:If you like exercising, maybe you like working directly with people in a fitness coach capacity, or maybe you would prefer being a gym owner.
Speaker:A lot of those different things, they tie into what we know about ourselves. You know what you enjoy doing, but do you know how you like working with people or away,
Speaker:from people or managing or helping?
Speaker:All of those things tie into what kind of career you should pursue.
Speaker:That's something that I love helping people gain those insights into themselves with and find their passion and their career path to find or create work that they love.
Speaker:Next question, what makes you smile?
Speaker:All those things that make you smile are things that you love and enjoy doing. It doesn't have to be an item.
Speaker:You could spend time with your grandchildren or visiting seniors in their homes or talking with your grandparents or going out and coaching youth baseball or anything like that.
Speaker:What are those things that put a smile on your face?
Speaker:Is that hiking? Is that playing?
Speaker:Become a rescue dog person or a dog rescue person. You know what I mean.
Speaker:Go through that list and write down your answers. From here, you wanna see if there's one thing that gets repeated over and over.
Speaker:And if you find that one thing that keeps coming up with every question, that is likely pretty close to your passion.
Speaker:That's something you're passionate about. Find ways to do that more, that one thing that you love to do.
Speaker:Do it as often as you can. Make time for it.
Speaker:You can do it if you truly love it. That's the end. I'm going to full screen this again.
Speaker:So find ways to develop your passion. Do it more often.
Speaker:Do it in different capacities. If you know there's something that you love, Like for me, that snowboarding thing. Find different areas where you can plug into that and see if that's something you can develop a career or a side business around.
Speaker:Maybe your own full-fledged business around that thing, whether that is teaching people how to snowboard, whether that's professional snowboarding or renting snowboards or developing your own line of snowboards.
Speaker:You know, there's so many different aspects of things that you're passionate about that you can plug into and create your own career around that. I hope that's helped you out.
